ยอดขายเครื่องเกม ในญี่ปุ่น 30 อันดับประจำวันที่ 28 ธันวาคม – 3 มกราคม 2021  นินเทนโด สร้างสิ่งใหม่กับวงการเกมญี่ปุ่นด้วยการ ครองแชมป์เกมขายดีในญี่ปุ่นเกือบหมดช่วงปีใหม่ โดยเกมบน Nintendo Switch ติดอันดับ 29 จาก 30 เกมถือว่าแทบจะผูกขาดตลาดเกมในญี่ปุ่นไปแล้ว  เช่นเดียวกับเครื่องเกม Nintendo Switch ที่เดินหน้าขายได้หลักแสนเครื่องต่อสัปดาห์ต่อเนื่อง และทำยอดขายในญี่ปุ่นมากกว่า 17 ล้านเครื่องแล้ว
