13 สิงหาคม 2557 – ดีแทค ร่วมกับ เทเลนอร์ กรุ๊ป จัดโครงการ dtac&Telenor Youth Summit 2014 มอบสุดยอดประสบการณ์ที่หาไม่ได้ที่ไหน กับการเฟ้นหาตัวแทนเยาวชนไทยที่มีไอเดียสุดเจ๋ง รับเกียรติเข้าร่วมงานระดับโลก Noble Peace Prize 2014 ณ กรุงออสโล ประเทศนอร์เวย์ พร้อมทริปพิเศษและเงินรางวัลรวมกว่า 1 ล้านบาท
นายจอน เอ็ดดี้ อับดุลลาห์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บมจ.โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซ็ส คอมมูนิเคชั่น หรือ ดีแทค กล่าวว่า “ด้วยเป้าหมายของดีแทคภายใต้แนวคิด Internet for all ที่มุ่งเน้นการให้ทุกคนสามารถเข้าถึงอินเทอร์เน็ตได้โดยเฉพาะในโลกแห่งการใช้ดาต้าและอินเทอร์เน็ตในการสื่อสารและเชื่อมต่อข้อมูล ซึ่งมีแนวโน้มการใช้งานเติบโตอย่างก้าวกระโดด หนึ่งในงานวิจัยของอีริคสัน โมบิลิตี้ (Ericsson Mobility Report) พบว่า พฤติกรรมของกลุ่มเยาวชน (Youth Culture) เป็นกลุ่มที่มีการเข้าถึงโลกแห่งอินเทอร์เน็ตได้อย่างรวดเร็ว และมีการใช้งานปริมาณเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเฉพาะเด็กไทยที่ปัจจุบันใช้งานอินเทอร์เน็ตเพื่อค้นหาข้อมูลและใช้ในโลกของโซเชี่ยลมากถึง 70% ของผู้ที่มีสมาร์ทโฟน นั่นแสดงให้เห็นว่า กลุ่มเยาวชนนี้เป็นกลุ่มที่พร้อมจะเรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่ๆ สนใจเทคโนโลยี ทันสมัย ชอบค้นหาและตามเทรนด์ของโลก ในขณะเดียวกันเมื่อยิ่งมีการเข้าถึงมากขึ้น ก็จะมีความเสี่ยงในการคัดกรองข้อมูลในโลกของอินเทอร์เน็ตมากขึ้นเช่นกัน”

โดยโครงการ “dtac&Telenor Youth Summit 2014” จะทำการเฟ้นหาเยาวชนไทยที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 18-25 ปีที่มีความสนใจในเรื่องเทคโนโลยีแห่งโลกดิจิทัลและอินเทอร์เน็ต สามารถสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษได้ดี และกล้าแสดงออก ซึ่งผู้ที่ชนะเลิศเป็น 2 ตัวแทนเยาวชนไทยนอกจากจะได้รับประสบการณ์สูงสุดข้างต้นที่หาที่ไหนไม่ได้แล้ว ยังจะได้รับรางวัลพิเศษเป็นเงินสดคนละ 50,000 บาท พร้อมด้วย iPad Mini 16GB มูลค่า 16,990 บาท รวมมูลค่าทั้งสิ้นกว่า 1 ล้านบาท นอกจากนี้ยังได้รับเกียรติให้เป็นทูตเยาวชนในโครงการ “dtac Safe Internet” เพื่อเผยแพร่และให้ความรู้ในเรื่องของเยาวชนไทยกับสื่อดิจิทัลและอินเทอร์เน็ตอีกด้วย สนใจสามารถสมัครผ่านทางเว็บไซด์ได้ที่ www.dtac.co.th/telenoryouthsummit2014 ได้แล้ววันนี้ถึง 30 กันยายน 2557

dtac invites Thai Youth to participate in dtac & Telenor Youth Summit 2014 with a chance to attend the Nobel Peace Prize 2014 in Oslo, Norway.
August 13, 2014 – dtac and Telenor Group organize ‘dtac & Telenor Youth Summit 2014’ to offer Thai youth ultimate experience as Thailand representatives to attend a world-class ceremony, ‘Nobel Peace Prize 2014’, in Oslo, Norway. The rewards also include special trip and prizes worth together 1 million THB.
Mr. Jon Eddy Abdullah, CEO of Total Access Communication PLC. or dtac, said “dtac’s goal, under the concept of ‘Internet for all’, puts emphasis on providing internet access to everyone as the tremendous growth of data consumption at the moment. According to Ericsson Mobility Report, youth culture, as one key variable, is driving the information and communication technology growth. At present, 70% of Thai youth, who own smartphones, use internet to look for information and to surf social network. It suggests that youth are interested in modern technologies and are in-trend. The ‘dtac & Telenor Youth Summit 2014’ project search for Thai youth between 18-25 years of age, who are interested in digital and internet technologies, can communicate well in English, and are assertive. Two ultimate winners will be representatives of Thai youth, not only to have the highest experience mentioned above, but each of them also receives pocket money 50,000 THB and iPad Mini worth 16,990 THB. Prizes are worth all together more than 1 million THB. Besides, winners are also honored as the youth ambassador in ‘dtac Safe Internet’ project to publicize the knowledge of Thai youth with digital media and internet. In addition, dtac will hold a workshop on October 27 – 29, 2014 for 15 finalists to have opportunity to meet the top names in social media world. The judges are well-known from various societies. This is the good experience that dtac intends to give to Thai youth in order to gain knowledge and become think-tanks in digital world locally and globally.
