ว่ากันว่าคบ Apple ไว้แล้วไม่ค่อยจะผิดหวัง เพราะทันทีที่ Apple เริ่มออก API ใหม่ๆ มารองรับฟังก์ชั่นอนาคตทั้งหลายแหล่ ผู้ผลิตก็ยินดีที่จะกระโดนเข้ามาเกาะตลาดเล่นกับ API ใหม่ๆ เหล่านั้นในทันที และใน CES2015 ปีนี้เป็นที่คาดการณ์กันไว้ล่วงหน้าแล้วว่าเราน่าจะมีโอกาสได้เห็นอุปกรณ์ Hi-Tech ที่เตรียมเดินทัพเข้ามารองรับ API ชื่อ HomeKit ที่มาพร้อม iOS8 ของ Apple กันมากขึ้น และมันก็ถือได้ว่าไม่ผิดหวังเลยครับ เพราะนอกจากเจ้ากล้องติดบ้านความสามารถดีงามอย่าง Netatmo ที่เราได้นำเสนอกันไปเมื่อวานนี้แล้วนั้น HomeKit ก็ยังได้ผู้ผลิตอุปกรณ์ในครัวเรือนรายใหญ่อย่าง Elgato มาเล่นด้วย โดนมาพร้อมกับอุปกรณ์ทัพอุปกรณ์ติดบ้านสุดเจ๋งภายใต้ชื่อชุด Eve Devices ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย Eve Room, Eve Weather, Eve Water, Eve Door&Window, Eve Smoke และ Eve Energy นั่นเอง
ทาง Elgato ได้แจกแจงรายละเอียดของ Eve Devices เอาไว้ดังนี้ครับ
- ใช้ชีวิตอย่างสมาร์ทขึ้นด้วยการรู้รอบเรื่องสถานที่ๆ คุณหวงแหนที่สุด โดยแอพพลิเคชั่น EVE จะย่อบ้านของคุณลงมาเพียงชายตามองหน้าจอบน iPhone iPad และ iPod Touch เท่านั้นเอง
- Eve สามารถรับรู้ได้ถึงอุณหภูมิภายนอกบ้านของคุณ รวมถึงปริมาณความชื้นสัมพัทธ์และแรงกดอากาศภายนอกบ้าน
- เข้าถึงข้อมูลอุณหภูมิภายในบ้านของคุณได้ง่ายๆ ผ่านทาง iPhone iPad และ iPod Touch
- EVE ใช้เซ็นเซอร์ VOC (เซ็นเซอร์ตรวจจับฝุ่นระออง) ที่ถูกออกแบบมาโดยเฉพาะ ทำให้มันสามารถรับรู้ได้ถึงคุณภาพอากาศภายในบ้านของคุณ รวมไปจนถึงอุณหภูมิ ค่าความชื้นสัมพัทธ์ และแรงดันอากาศภายในบ้านอีกด้วย
- ด้วย EVE Door&Window ทำให้ EVE สามารถช่วยป้องกันความปลอดภัยภายในบ้านของคุณได้ผ่านทางหน้าจอมือถือ และยังสามารถช่วยคุณตัดสินใจปรับเปลี่ยนค่าต่างๆ เพื่อให้ได้อุณหภูมิภายในบ้านที่เหมาะสมกับสถานการณ์ที่แตกต่างกันได้อีกด้วย
- Eve เข้าใจลักษณะการใช้น้ำของคุณ กอปรกับอุณภูมิโดยรอบ โดยมันจะคอยจับตามองปริมาณน้ำที่คุณใช้ควบคู่กับการวิเคราะห์นิสัยการอาบน้ำของคุณ

สำหรับสนนราคานั้น ใน Press Release แจ้งว่าจะมีการประกาศพร้อมงานเปิดตัวอีกครั้ง แต่คาดว่าอีกไม่นานนี้คงจะมีประกาศออกมาเพราะ Elgato กำลังขึ้นแสดงผลิตภัณฑ์ตัวนี้อยู่ในงาน CES2015 ณ ขณะนี้นั่นเอง
